When I decided to start building tables I needed to have some buy in. So, I went and bought 2 beautiful slabs of Mesquite from a local wood vendor. I loved the rich color with the stark white edges that’s consistent with this wood type. After a few years of not wanting to let these pieces out of the shop (they were my very first slabs), a customer came in and wouldn’t leave without them.
At 9’ long x 44” wide with legs from one of our favorite leg manufacturers, and just enough material to make matching bench seats, this table set is a thing of beauty.
